TJ’s directing credits reveal a who’s who of kickass women characters: Xena, La Femme Nikita, the very fun Cleopatra 2525, all the clones in Orphan Black, and currently a female-strong cast in the latest television Star Trek adventure, Discovery.
With a background in stunt work and choreography, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to his action sequences and isn't afraid to feature women in even the most challenging settings. He received the CSA award as 'Best Director' for Orphan Black, CSA nomination for Caught, five Gemini Award nominations, and numerous Golden Reel Awards wins and nominations for Xena, Hercules, and Young Hercules.
Along with his career as a director, he is an avid photographer and has used that skill to create a series of books called “In The Tub.” He and all of the actors, musicians & celebrities donated their time to this title created strictly to raise funds for breast cancer research and awareness.
He currently splits his time between Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto, directing, writing, and developing action-packed television shows with Epic Cinematic style.
As he continues his career, be sure that kickass women will always play a big role in his projects.
In 2018, TJ was honored to be presented with the Artemis Action Rebel Award by Artemis Women in Action Film Festival for making a career of championing powerful action roles for women.
